all my vhs tapes don't work / myLot

No idea if the problem is with the player or the tape. Some tapes look clean, some of them look moldy. There is audio when I play it, but the video is just static.

We're still trying to find solutions. Such a waste if we can't save all those tapes~

I think you need to run one of those video head cleaners in it to clean it out so it can read properly. I think that may be the only problem since none are working properly. If I remember right, you run the cleaner through the machine just like you would a regular tape/

@stephcjh i had to manually clean it, since the cleaner didn't have any liquid left.

If those tapes had not been played for a long time they may not be playable anymore. Or your VHS player is not in good condition anymore if it has not been used for a long time.

I am not very surprised to hear that. After all, they are something long time before. It is better to convert the available tapes into digital so that you can store it forever
