Joe Flacco Signs with the Eagles

Joe Flacco, originally played for Baltimore. He is my husband's favorite player. Always has been. He was heartbroken when the Ravens dissrespected him in the playoff game a few years ago in favor of Jackson. That's okay though because he went to play back up to Sam Darnold and the New York Jets. He actually had a good year there, though that's all the contract was for...one year. This year, he signs for the home team...his home team, not mine lol. I doubt he'd go back to Baltimore. For one year, Joe Flacco will be back up to Jalen Hurts and the Phildadelphia Eagles. Some wonder if it's a battle for starter but we're all pretty sure that he's only there as a veteran quarterback back up. He's now been Quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, New York Jets and now the Philadelphia Eagles. Philadelphia fans, how are you feeling this morning with the latest Philly signing? *picture from google

I think he's a very respectable and capable backup QB, and will do well with the Eagles. He's a veteran with lots of experience, so if Hurts ever went down and Flacco had to take over the starting role, Eagles fans could breathe a sigh of relief knowing the team is in good hands.

@JordanLader I think sometime the general management, or even the coaching staff, starts those rumors about a starter battle just to get both of the QBs riled up and trying harder. There is nothing wrong with a little stiff competition among QBs, I think in the end it makes both of them better players.

@moffittjc It does and I think it may happen with a few teams this year, I just don't think Philly will be one of them.

He still has the skills if he has a team around him. I think in Denver, no one wanted him there which essentially set him up for failure. He did well with the Jets when he was in and I'm excited to see how it works out with the Eagles. There was a rumor saying there may be a starter battle but we're pretty sure that that was all it was, is a rumor.

I don't follow American football. But I know that this sport is followed like crazy there. I am sure Philadelphia fans would be happy as he would be an added asset to the team.

I love Football and I follow it like crazy. I cry when the season is over and both my husband and father make fun of me. After the Superbowl in Feb, I get a couple months break then starts of free agency and the draft. It's also fun to watch the coach changes too. They call it the caurasel. A few years ago it was a coach one but the past couple have been quarterbacks.

@JordanLader I used to be crazy about cricket, badminton and tennis the same way.But now with so much to do, I am not able to keep up with that. But I still keep myself updated with scores. Husband and elder one are sports freak and they love soccer

@arunima25 My husband's family love sports in general. If it's on they'll watch it. When we're up in the summer to see everyone, they always have baseball on...I fall asleep. The only one I can get into is football. I tried hockey though...that was a semi-success. I can at least watch it lol
