Juanita, my washing machine was working.

Juanita just finished a load of garments. I had it in "light" because I wanted to wash some scarves for the winter. I need a scarf in my neck from fall to spring. Juanita yells as soon as she is finished, so I´d better hang everything before it wrinkles. I only use the sun to dry. I did it! Blacks and the like are hanging in the sun and I´ll have a coffee break with mylot before I start the whites. That is not as easy because I will have to take a shower first. I want to wash what I´m wearing too. Chores take up most of my time. Plus mylotting, watching TV and taking naps of course. Such is life and the covid. We have our city in complete lockdown

@marguicha Some people refuse to follow the rules, thus a lockdown has to be enforced!

I've never heard of anyone giving their washing machine a name

She deserves it. She is hardworking and I hate to wash by hand.

I wish my machine would yell when she's finished. Maybe I should give her a name. That might help. lol

Probably Juanita is a rather new machine. The old one did not talk (I had it for decades).

Things are beginning to open up here in Michigan, a little at a time. I'm not trusting this, quite yet.

I thought the vaccine would help but now everything is worse because the government gave vacation permits

@marguicha People have been loosening up too much and putting their guard down! The same happened here in NYork ,Florida, and Texas. Now, it's awful what's happening with COVID!

@kobesbuddy Authorities are to be blamed too. When I was a child we never had money to "go out" for vacations. So we played in the patio with the hose and at tea time my grandma made smoothies mashing bananas with a fork and adding milk and sugar. That was fun!

Juanita is such a reliable worker! I'm sorry your city is still in lockdown. I wish the residents would take this pandemic more seriously.
