Woke up to thunderstorms early, before daylight this morning. Both cats were beside me before I got up. They seem to be calm during bad weather, as long as they are close to me.
So far we have no tornado warnings, but we are on the lookout just in case. A hailstorm earlier with the rain. Thunder and lightning now as I type. I hope the power stays on.
Have a good day everyone. The cats are sleeping now of course.

We are getting thunderstorms now. One just shook the house. Mike is with Ginger to make sure she is okay. Buttons would get under the blanket with one of us or hide behind his chair. She hated them. Glad your babies feel safe close to you. Stay safe.

Last night we had thunder and lightening, for a short while. It only happened for about ten minutes, then stopped. This morning we're getting only a misty rain, enough to need a hooded jacket. Eeyore is adorable!

@CarolDM ok i was thinking maybe there was an indoor mug and an outdoor mug (i know, i have a set). Indoors is a World's best Husband mug, outside is my Raventech mug!

Storms here this morning..probably the same system. The thunder scared Nico. He stayed on the bed but as far away from the window as he could get. One of the cats I had here was living here during the tornado. He was terrified..and anytime it would storm after that he would cry. Poor kitty.

There’s an enhanced risk of severe weather from Memphis to Nashville for later today. Keep that weather radio turned on, just in case.
