Cooking

My electric stove is so slow in cooking. That is because only one ring is working, the rest are not. My induction stove is not also working. I know gas stove cooks a lot faster than electric stove. I started at 8am and I'm still cooking at the moment. I have cooked 3 kinds of foods though. Meanwhile, am ready to face the lockdown as my husband did the grocery shopping. How is your weekend?

It's been a difficult few days for us. I need to check up on my sister and niece and nephew everytime to check if they are eating and taking medicines.

@Janet357 they coping. I try to call them every time to check if they have eaten or drink their vitamins. They will cry, laugh. My sister is a tough and strong person and to see her crying and pouring out emotions, I know I have to be strong for her

I noticed that our electric stove does the same thing. We use it if particular meat needs to be cook for a long time

@Janet357 I agree. At some point, I am planning to buy a microwave oven for reheating food in the house

Weekend was spent stocking up on essentials. We didn't want to go with the usual surge of panic buyers because of the coming lockdown. I've got 2 induction stoves and I don't use them. They cook my dishes way too fast. I still use gas.

@Janet357 we're okay with that. We're used to the usual restrictions since our province never lifted the curfews.

We have always preferred gas to electric when it comes to stoves.

I understand. Induction cooks faster too but they have this problem that they just stop working.
