Early Off from Work

It is only 3 PM here but I feel like shutting off my laptop to take some rest. I have done a lot lately and I think that is good enough to rest early for the day. I cannot stand staring at the screen for a very long time.
Although I started at 9 Am after having breakfast, I was fast enough to finish a pile or paper work. I had submitted them online and so far the Boss' feedback was quite good to take an early break. I am also taking a break from here and after recharging I might go back later.
How's your day? Care for donuts?

We had a send-off online party for our retiring co-workers. It is just sad and at the same time feeling happy for them for reaching their time to retire at this point in time. We shared stories and thank them for their service with the company. It will be some kind of a challenge seeing them leave us since they have contributed so many things for us.

@merrybelle2021 True, Everything is done online. Although it was still a very memorable and unique one except that you do not make to greet and hug them as we bade goodbyes to one another. It looked quite impersonal and distant but the thought was conveyed that we appreciated them to be around during their stints and grateful for their contribution they made. We had 3 seniors that got retired.

I am happy because I was able to assist employees from the local government units in uploading their GAD Plan and Budget and Accomplishment. I am aiming to achieve a hundred percent compliance even if i am not sure if I could achieve it considering that tomorrow is the deadline. There are still some who are yet to comply. But I am happy that they are also trying.

@cherigucchi I'm afraid I did not make it. Maybe for me, it is an easy thing, but not with the local government units. They are finding it difficult with the uploading. Some just don't care.

Spending a long time in front of the computer can hurt my head at times that's why I make sure to take a break.
