Waiting for dad
(I know, again!)
Welcome to the sad lives of the Labs that live with me. They actually have to wait for me to get moving in the morning.
Unlike Godot who never shows, i show but far too much shuffling for Labrador taste!
Do you dogs or cats think you move too slow?

The Labs both either nip or smack when food is slow!

Your dogs are so cute. When we had dogs, they had a better time sense than we did. When it was time to eat; when it was time to go out; when it was time to play; when it was time to sit on mom's/dad's lap (the smaller ones).

@DocAndersen Dogs of ALL sizes love to be lap dogs. I've seen 100#+ dogs on owners' laps.

yesterday was pretty nice weather-wise. The Labrador collective thanks to you for the kisses and wonders if you would be sending treats to go with that?

due to the number of dogs and the resulting collisions, we don't play fetch right now. too many dogs.

I hope they do not suspect that you put other priorities before them, as I know that you get up early, and get a lot of "me" work done.
Perhaps, the minute you get up, you should give them a tickle behind the ear, and tell them,
"I will just do a little "me" work now, but I love youse all, just the same."

@DocAndersen My small dog used to sit patiently on the couch in my study, waiting for me to pay attention to it too.
After an hour, or so, it would jump down, come over to me, on my computer, and scratch gently at my leg, to try to tell me,
"I am here too."
I would pick her up, and place her on my lap, and then work for the next hour, or more, with her seated comfortably, at home, on my lap.
I guess that is harder for you to do, with the size of your dogs.

@innertalks They adore sitting on laps if they can! Mine does the same thing (both of them do) let me know they are where I am!

Their tolerance of human slowness and human prioritization of tasks is well known. as in it doesn't exist!
