Update & Happy Easter 4/4/21

Wishing those that celebrate a blessed and Happy Easter! To those that observe Passover, enjoy your last day of Passover.
The handyman finally called and will be coming on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning.
Temps finally went up to 55 yesterday with sunshine. Nice. I hope there's no more s**w for months to come! We have a cold front coming; but I haven't caught the complete details of the forecast.
Are you doing anything special for Easter? If so, what are you having to eat? It's just the two of us; and we don't have anything special planned. We bought a spiral sliced ham a week ago and ate it all! lololol So no ham for Easter.

I took my family to Disney World for Easter, as it was our first time getting back together since I caught Covid a month ago. So, it was sort of a celebration of my son's 18th birthday (which I missed due to Covid), me recovering from Covid, and the Easter holiday, all wrapped up in one celebration.

@kareng I told him we were going to celebrate his birthday for an entire month, to make up for the fact that I missed the actual date because of Covid. I took him out to dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse the other night. The guy is definitely loving it!

it sn*wed here on Derby Day the year I bought my house (1989), but I think we’re done with the dirty S word for the season. I hope so. For us, the cold front is supposed to bring rain Wednesday and cooler (not colder) weather for the weekend.

I love that photo you found, A Happy Easter to you! My day started when a friend gave me a link to a live Easter church service so I enjoyed that, Then quietly I have been doing some writing online and that is about it, The sun has been shining today but I still have to wear a sweater, I hope you have a relaxing evening, If I had still been living in Latvia tomorrow we would have Second Easter,

That was our plan; but the Pizza Hut didn't open up until 4; and we had something to eat around noon.

@LindaOHio Yay, three cheers for the handyman! We had another nice day today. It poured all night long along with some thunderstorms. We had a pretty day with lots of sun. Hub got the new belt on the mower- it fit!- and managed to get a little of the yard mowed.

@LindaOHio wow, you must be a good cook then. One of my relatives's mother in law was a famous home economics and heard that she was a very good cook in the past. These days, she is in her 90s, she has tried to cook a few times but her tastebuds are gone with aging.
