In 1975 Minnie Riperton was number one on the US singles chart with "Loving You" The song was produced by Stevie Wonder In 2016 Drake a Canadian hip hop artist released the single "One Dance" which made it to number one in ten countries including the US and topped the UK singles chart for 15 weeks The song also became the most played on streaming media service Spotify topping 950 million individual streams I wanted to make a note here. Can you imagine trying to make positive posts about music and not about artists death this day in history has more about deaths than about top songs. Today also would have been my grandma's (my mother's mom) birthday. She was born in the 1880s.
Minnie Riperton - Loving you (1974).

Happy Belated Heavenly Birthday to your Grandmother. I often wondered how Minnie Riperton reached those high notes!

Reading about their lives, and their deaths can both be interesting at times, but it is good to make positive posts, sometimes too, as you mentioned there too.
