I watch videos on Youtube about street foods around the world and it amazes me how fast their hands are. They are so adept at making burgers, flat bread with egg, waffles and so on. From the looks of it, they really taste good. But one thing I simply notice is that after touching money as they take the payment from the customer, they touch food without sanitizing their hands. They touch money, dirty cloth to wipe the table and food. I am convinced that home-cooked meals are the best.

One of the reason why I never buy street food is exactly the scarcity of hygiene.

yes. There are times I crave for them but I just contain myself. Because at home we thoroughly wash them because we will put them inside our body. Now eating these foods outside, nahh. unless maybe in a nice restaurant.

@Janet357 Consider that money is the dirtiest thing circulating... those vendors touch the money and then they touch the food that you put in your mouth. I feel so disgusted that I do not even crave for that food.

@LadyDuck I agree. I think in some poor countries, street vendors are like that.
