I'm not entirely sure why they call it a guest host when they're searching for a new host but that's what it is I guess. Aaron Rogers, Green Bay Packers Quarterback, is the current guest host. It went rather well for him Monday night for his first time hosting. The final Jeopardy question threw the contestants for a loop apparently and one decided to take the opportunity to get his own question answered. In the NFC Championship game just last year, the Green Bay Packers were up against the Tampa Bay Bucs and loosing to them by a mere eight points. On fourth and goal where you would think that the coach and team would go for it. Especially with Rodgers reputation and record to back it up. Nope, Coach LaFleur decided to go for a field goal. It was one of the worst decisions many fans had seen in years. Arguably the worst. Good on the Jeopardy contestant to ask who's decision it was to kick that field goal even though the question remains unanswered. *Picture from google

I suppose he's the guest host since there's no permanent host yet.

I guess I thought they would say temporary or just host. I feel like guest means they're waiting for Alec to come back.

@JordanLader Well, that's definitely not going to happen. "Guest" also sounds more like he was invited and welcomed instead of being a placeholder, and just saying "host" might imply that he was permanent.

@spiderdust True. I guess it's just how you view it and no one views things the same which makes it interesting.

The star of the show is the host so anyone else is a guest as the stars agent will make sure of that
