The Saga Is Finally Over!

For those of you who have been following my discussions about this, you'll be glad to know that the ordeal over our car tail light is finally over.
I was getting frustrated because tomorrow would be a week since the tail light was supposed to come in and we still had not heard anything. So, my husband called Autozone and it was actually in.
We asked if they could put it on, and the older guy that was working there said they don't really do that....but the younger man took the tail light and his tools and said no problem, he'd do it. Took him probably 5 to 10 minutes to do it.
So finally, we have the back head lights/back up lights again! Plus...it looks so much nicer than our busted tail light.
I have to say, although the wait was a while to get in the part we needed....they replaced it for free. Taking it to a mechanic I am sure would cost a lot. And thankfully, it was not the fuse that was the problem!
So yes...finally that is over. Do you use Autozone? If so, do you like their services?

I'm glad they fixed it for free. We've never used Autozone for service.

@porwest AAA had a really good price for membership the past two years. They replaced the battery in both cars and pumped up the tires.

Yes, we use auto zone for a lot of stuff. We get the thing that makes lights blink there. And the other lights, too. Plus other thing.

I am so glad too, that was a week and a half or so of stress that I didn't need.

It seems to be a pretty good company/business.

It is good that they were able to take care of that for you. I know they do battery replacement all the time, and it's a regular service they offer. Other "repair" work is usually, of course, out of their wheelhouse because they are not a repair shop, but a parts store. But I have experienced AutoZone employees going out of their way to accommodate customers where it is practical. They typically will change your wiper blades for you at no extra charge as well.

@MommyOfEli2013 Yeah, they'll change wiper blades for you in an instant. They actually do work well to take care of customers. I have rarely had a bad experience with them.

I know they do battery replacement too, as they did ours one time. But I know that they don't do all of those other things....so was just very cool they were able to help us out with that. Good to know about the wiper blades.
