Today I took my aunt to the doctor for my cousin. She had a test to do and it took about 2.5 hours from start to finish. We both enjoyed the company and catching up with what is going on with all "the kids and grandkids." She will get getting her first great grandchild later this year. It will be fun to have another baby around to enjoy! I didn't get back home until after dark. It is a 1.5 hour drive to her house. Then we had to venture into Baton Rouge for her appointment. I decided to surprise the hubby and bring him takeout Chinese food for dinner. He was very happy about that. He accomplished a good bit on the homefront today. He unloaded the dishwasher and put the dishes all up. I'll be finding things in funny places for the next few days, but won't complain! He also found the belt for the mower in stock in a little town close to where one of the daughters lives. I told him that is perfect. We will go surprise them tomorrow and go to McDonalds (only thing close to their house) and get some ice cream. So that is the plan for tomorrow! He also took care of Slow Poke today and the other 6 babies. Slow Poke is still hanging in there but I dont expect him/her to make it through the night. He is just not thriving. I suppose it was Mother Nature's way of keeing him in the egg so long. The other chick that I helped get out of the shell is doing goood. It's growing and active. It may have something wrong with one of its feet, but nothing major. I think it will all work out just fine with that one. I hope everyone had a nice day and keep it on track for Wednesday!
