I am tired of finding mugs and glasses around here all the time. It is ridiculous. It looks like there has been a party in here and it is usually just me. Friend was here a couple of days but that is it. Roomie drinks but he keeps his glasses or cups to a minimum. Brother in law says he uses one mug per day and just washes it as needed. Not sure about glasses..I need to do that..Tired of finding mugs and glasses everywhere!. Do you have a rule for mugs and glasses at your place?

@snowy22315 we got in a fight over it I waited three days and he refused to do them. He’s so lazy it’s usually just easier anymore if I quick do the stuff myself like put his clothes away and pick up his dirty laundry rather then wait for him to ever care to clean it up or make me mad seeing it there day after day.

@shaggin He sounds really immature..or you don't have the same values. I know what you mean though. Some things just aren't worth the hassle.

You don't have to, you choose to. I would tell him he is responsible to wash his extra glass..however, if he is going to cuss you out over it..maybe it isn't worth it..

Ours get brought into the kitchen normally but I'd like my husband to get into the habit of putting them into the dishwasher right away unless it's still full and he doesn't. So we end up with kids and glasses in the countertop most weeks. Are you saying that the ones you keep finding are actually yours?

I always wash it right away after using it. We don`t have rules for mugs and glasses

Ohhhh, I scream about this everyday! Me, whatever I drink, I clear away the mug/cup right after . . . I don't leave them around. Everyone else I tell them to at least put them in the sink . . . but not hours later and after I scream .

@snowy22315 I tell them to put stuff in the dishwasher whenever possible too. You're right - the sink can get full too .

My husband and I use different mugs. He does not drink coffee but I do. So there is no much clutter around.

Yes, I keep it to the minimum. Even for plates and bowl. The rest would be in the cupboard. There are only three people in this house. We don't require so much stuff.

We both use plastic bottles and are both responsible for our own. We have glasses but never use them.

I use the same mug for my two cups of coffee every morning and then keep refilling the same glass with my water for the rest of the day. When I'm done with my coffee the mug goes in the dishwasher and the same for my water glass. No mugs or glasses hanging around.

They can hang around too, if you don't get after them right away.
