I saw a seller selling a candle that is in a dollar store for $50 all of her dollar store candles are $50. I could not resist the comment section. I know selling means making a profit but gouging is hard on everyone.

Oh my goodness, that's too funny. I hope anyone considering paying that much for those candles sees that in the comments before making the purchase. Some people will try anything to make a quick buck, even if it comes at the expense of others.

It is another story if gouging is introduced. Why do they do that?

I agree. I know this is hard times, but I wouldn't pay that for a candle.

Understandable that everyone is trying to make money during this time but that is overpricing plain and simple.

As much as I agree with you 100%, and agree this seller is definitely a crook, it's also the buyer's responsibility to know what they are buying and what it's worth. Is a Nike shirt worth $50? Nope. But Nike sure thinks it is, and many people will pay $50 just for a shirt with a swoosh on it.

You know what I feel the same way because I refuse to pay $50 for anyone's name other than mine. May I ask you something? I made shirts with my name on it and someone offered to buy one from me. I felt it was ok to give it since I want my site out. Would selling them be wrong? Thank you

@sharon6345 No. Selling them would not be wrong at all. If someone is willing to pay something for something they want, and you have it to sell... Take the money and run. Never ask questions when someone has their wallet open and ready to unload it for you.
