A lost wedding ring story from Iowa

The married couple in Clive Iowa are grateful that a concerned citizen found on a trail near the Maddox Park Shelter House.
What makes this story wonderful is that the person who found the wedding ring went to report the loss of a wedding ring to the local police department.
The police department officials used the power of social media to contact the couple that must have been sad that wedding ring that was lost would never be returned to them,
One day later the married couple that lost the wedding ring did receive from a police officer the lost wedding ring even though it was not made clear where the reunion of the ring took place at the police station or if the police officer handed the lost wedding ring to the couple in person.
Thank goodness in our world there are many good people who believe in returning lost items to their owners.

That's very true. Most people might try to pawn it off for money, but at least they didn't.

@Deepizzaguy I removed it to wash my hands in a restaurant. When I noticed I immediately asked to ask around... someone not very honest found it and kept the ring.

You may want to add in your first paragraph that the married couple were glad someone found their ring.

I corrected the problem in the first paragraph. Thank you for pointing out my error.
