cold compress did wonder to my red eye

My eye was still red when I woke up and this annoyed me. I thought a good night sleep would make it disappear but nope, it was still there. And so reading some articles online, I've seen that one of the solutions is cold compress.
And so, I put it on my eye and after a few minutes, the redness disappeared. I love it!
So, ordinary redness of the eye, you know the solution next time.

Yes, we know the solution is not to stick your finger in your eye in the first place.
