The Ongoing Honey Do List

Happy Friday Everyone!! or maybe it's Fri YaY for you today. It certainly is Fri Yay for my daughter since she's been working 5 days a week with her new job and looks forward to the weekends.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow since my son and his family will be coming for a visit. I haven't seen them in months mostly due to my son being tied up with a big job he's working on and my daughter in law works too. I always have a "honey do list" for my son when he comes. Maybe that's why I don't see him for months at a time 
Aside from him figuring out a plan for the deck (new boards and stain) I need the water filter changed in the refrigerator. My filter is at the bottom of the fridge and you have to lay on the floor in order to change it. I can't lay on the floor anymore and he's the only one agile enough to do it without a hassle. I swear if I ever buy another refrigerator the first thing I'll ask is.."where is the water filter"
We're going to keep it simple and order pizza for lunch. I'm going to see if my oldest daughter wants to come over and visit with us too.
Today I'm doing a little bit of tidying up. I'm going to run a quick vacuum and dust and then I'm done.
I'm wearing a short sleeve shirt today but don't know if I need to find my sweater as it seems colder than I expected when I got dressed. The sky is getting darker and the sun is disappearing so I guess we're getting the rain they predicted.
Do you have anything fun planned for this weekend?

I am glad that you are getting together with your family this weekend. Time spent with our family is so precious, even more since the gaps in our visits this past year.
We do not have anything planned for the weekend, we are in a strict stay at home order, and will do just that. Hopefully this helps, when I hear others talking thru our chat sessions at work, I realize that our family is a minorty, that most do visit. That is what is spreading the virus.

@Marilynda1225 I have read online that there are warnings that the US is headed into trouble as the numbers are rising. I think that your family is playing it safe and hopefully will remain healthy.

I'm really looking forward to seeing my son and his family. We haven't seen each other in months. I haven't seen my middle daughter and her family either.
I guess on Easter families gathered and now the virus is spreading again.
Hopefully your lockdown won't last too long

Sorry about the water filter. I hope it can be done as soon as possible. I don`t have anything fun planned this weekend we will just watch some movies at netflix or prime. If I still have time. Then, I will mylot

I do not have any plans but feel overwhelmed with stuff I need to do.

Sun is shining here but the wind is ferocious of course and I have to walk a ways to my appointment. See you later.

Just going back to work again. It's overcast here too with the rain looking like it might start earlier than predicted.
I never knew filters could be on the bottom. Thanks for that too for when we get a new fridge.

I am glad you'll be spending time with your children over the weekend. That is great your son helps you around home. We help Mike's mom as much as we can. There are some things that her home needs that we can't do so we are going to help her find someone who is trustworthy to do the repairs.
Getting ready to study for the Sunday school lesson in the morning. Do a few chores after wards and relax the rest of the day. Mike has to study as well for his class. Enjoy your weekend.

Yes my daughter got a new job in Feb. She's back in the corporate world and the old grind of 5 days a week. The upside is she's working from home so no more horrible commute.

i remember going to my folks house for Sunday dinner. I would arrive, my dad would be in the driveway waiting (come on he would say, we've got work to do before dinner)!.

I hope he can get the filter taken care of on your honey-do list. It sounds like good weekend plans.
I'm going to do laundry today. I've already cleaned the bathroom and changed the sheets on my bed and put new ones on. I've been busy and it's not even 6 AM.
