I bet many of you never knew these wonderfully interesting facts. I'm also sure you never gave any of these trivial facts any thought either. lol But like a good joke here are three facts I found which you can spring on someone to impress them with your amazing knowledge of useless information.
THERE IS A COLOR CALLED "EIGENGRAU"
-Have you ever entered a pitch black room and closed your eyes and then opened them. Probably not. Well, try this experiment... Enter a dark room and keep your eyes closed for 3 minutes. Then open them. What you will find instead of total blackness is a dark gray shade. And that color is "eigengrau!" Don't ask me to pronounce it
CATS LACK A SWEET TOOTH
-That's right! Kitty can't taste sweet things. It's due to a genetic defect. They lack the amino acids which make up the DNA in a specific gene.
If your a cat owner do you fed sweet things to your cat? Too bad they can't enjoy the flavor.
PEANUT BUTTER HAS A SCIENTIFIC CONNECTION TO DIAMONDS
-What does that mean? Well, you can actually turn peanut butter into diamonds. Say whattt??? Yes, German scientist Dan Frost produced a diamond utilizing peanut butter. Due to peanut butter's concentration of carbon dioxide it is technically possible under the right conditions to produce a diamond. As the movie says, "Diamonds Are Forever."
But don't turn your kitchen into a peanut butter diamond lab just yet. It's much more complicated than that. Watch the link to see how it is possible.
Hope you found these interesting obscure facts entertaining. Now, your ready to dazzle your friends with some useless information...
Which fact did you find most interesting or would like to comment on?

Eigengrau is German, dark gray background that your brain senses.
A Swiss company turn the cremated ashes into diamond. The reason is the same, high concentration of carbon dioxide. I wonder if I would be allergic to the diamond produced with peanut butter... I am sure I will never know.

@dgobucks226 I stay away from anything with peanuts. I know how much it would cost to have the ashes converted to diamonds, for 1 carat pure white the cost is $17295... not as a real diamond, but expensive!

Yes, being able to easily turn peanut butter into diamonds is to good to be true.
Oh well, when I eat a peanut butter cup it's as tasty as a diamond for me, just not as expensive
I guess kill them with kindness does not work with everyone

I doubt it. Otherwise, it would be a widespread business. Guess our supply of Jiffy is safe for now
