Well, I had to go out today for something and well it was a bit tiring as well as there was something that needed me to have my mind focused. Heat is rising but well it is 10th April already. As we are again witnessing a resurgence of Covid 19 and with restrictions coming back, a few thoughts keep on coming to my mind. So what can I think about in terms of lessons learnt : 1)Frustrations can be chanelled into a source of energy. Yes sometimes being bound and not being able to move around much leads to frustrations but I found means of using it to write articles, blogs, discussions and sometimes devoting time to reading. 2)If you feel like sleeping extra even if your energy is not being used much physically owing to be at home, do not mind. May be your mind is working faster and tiring. Just make sure that we eat right and not excess. Rest of the things are fine. 3)Think less, do more. There were days when I kept on thinking : "Hey this desk or furniture is accumulating more and more dust. I need to do a good dusting some day. For 3/4 days, nothing gets done. Then one day, I just grab a piece of dusting cloth, remove things and then do the dusting job! (Wow- action rather than just thinking). 4)Doing things step wise rather than Big Bang does works. Yes, impatience does tries to pervade our minds but then it is a big life struggle- isn't it! Perhaps a bit overboard, but well well I just blurted out

We all do what helps us get through these challenging times.

@DianneN Yes we do try but at times, frankly we do not do enough. Yet I have learnt + learning to take things in stride and do better when not doing enough.

@DianneN Now I am trying to be more regular with walks. I do get into the habit in between but then things slip again.

@m_audrey6788 The fact is that I am lazier than before but well not too lazy and well I think I still manage to put the time to good use.

@marguicha Here in India and especially the Northern part, we do get a lot of dust. We should ideally do dusting everyday but we do not do it. Still I have covered a lot of ground in the last few days.

@just4him Plus I was able to spend more time here as well. Hopefully with better planning and execution, I will be able to do more things or in a better manner.

2020 drove me insane too. I decided to set up an excel list of all the Asian Dramas and Movies which my friends and relatives advised me to watch. From that, I read reviews, etc then watched those which seemed interesting. It was a big task (and sounds useless) but it took my mind off 2020 and the uncertainties the year brought with it.

@YrNemo All those movie and drama watching is fine. I was hooked on to many old cricket match highlights. Now I have seen so many that I now check some older movies which I could not see when I was much more outside. What bothers me is that I have been behind on morning walks and this is an aspect where I could have done better.

@YrNemo Our inbuilt tendency can be of a couch potato but we have to (figuratively) kick ourselves to do something else at times!
