Let's provide "a wind of change" with today's music trivia quiz as we move closer to finishing up our stormy weather tunes. So try not to "twist in the wind" solving them. Here's Cat Steven's song "The Wind" to provide a gentle breeze as you figure out the answers to the following "windy titled" tunes. Terrific live video and a reflective song using wind as a metaphor to explain Steven's soulful search to find spirituality. It eventually led him to the Muslim religion and a name change to Yusuf Islam. And now it's time for your artist and song clues- Whodunnit? (Remember words in quotations can provide hints to the music trivia answers) 1. Cat Stevens wrote many songs dealing with a search for "harmony and love." One such song was written while this artist was traveling by" train." This top ten hit is about giving people "hope" about the world, "thinking about all the good things to come." In his song lyrics the singer is "Dreaming about the world as one," and believing someday it is going to happen. -Do you know the name of this "tranquil" hopeful song recorded by Cat Stevens? 2. The song recorded by this artist was a "tribute to Marilyn Monroe." With the opening line "Goodbye Norma Jean" this song exemplified her short, but action packed hectic life. This song was later performed by this artist (with some minor revisions in the lyrics) at the funeral for "Lady Diana, the Princess of Wales." This track was off the "piano player's Yellow Brick Road Album," considered by many critics his best. This artist is known for wearing outrageous costumes on stage, appearing in feathers, in a rhinestone-studded baseball uniform, even as Donald Duck. This British musician appeared as the Pinball Wizard in the film version of the Who's Tommy. -Do you know this talented piano player and his "wind titled" song? 3. This sunshine pop band from California had a #1 Billboard hit with this song in 1967. The tune was the group's second #1 hit following up on their previous year's chart topper "Cherish." A female songwriter wrote this song about the kind of guy she wanted to be with, a kind of free spirit. When this band recorded the tune they changed the gender to a girl, a women whose carefree, "smiling at everyone she see's, reaching out to capture the moment." For everyone knows she's __________. This band strung together quite a few 60's hits in addition to the above mentioned tunes. "Never My Love was their 3rd #1 single and "Along Comes Mary" also was a top ten hit for the group. -Do you know the name of this band and the title of the "stormy-eyed" girl they sang about? Ok, let's not get "blown away" trying to solve these song and artist answers. Remember, a stormy theme is part of the song title. If your stuck and need additional hints just let me know in your response. Or as Dionne Warwick might say in song, "That What Friends Are For." Thanks for reading and responding to my music post!!! "Until Next Saturday." Source- Wikipedia & songfacts.com

@dgobucks226 Sometimes one sees the train coming but it may be the wrong train. Nothing wrong with soul but sometimes one needs some peace. As my friend John Lennon would say: Give peace a chance!

Peace is the word. Well, actually "Bird is..." Mr. Hercules John himself! Perhaps "Blowin' In The Wind" by that Freewheelin' Bob Dylan might apply here? He can go tripping down the streets of the city Smilin' at everybody he sees (with Windy)
