The next B song is an interesting one that seems to stay on the mind, It is "Bang a Gong (Get It On)" by T Rex. The song was recorded by the British glam rock group T Rex in 1971 and is on their album Electric Warrior,

My favorite cover of Bang a Gong was by Robert Palmer. He might have still been with his group when he recorded this one. Saw him in concert many years ago. Looked it up. Yes, he was still with Power Station when this was recorded.

I haven't heard this in so many years and yet right away was able to sing all the lyrics. I was about 12 when this came out. It stayed popular for awhile and I had the album so would play for years.
