This story is so wonderful since as far I know, there are not many stories where a mom who gives birth to a son as a teen gets the chance of meeting 45 years later where the mom and son hugged each other. Brenda Van Sickle who lives in Fort Worth Texas gave birth to a baby boy when she was 16 years of age. Since Brenda was not able to take care of her son Wes Fenner at that time, she made the decision to place him for adoption. However a few months ago Brenda received a phone call from Wes who was adopted by a loving family who now lives in New Orleans after Wes used DNA testing and an adoption search to locate his biological mom. The mother and son agreed to meet in a hotel in Terrell Texas where they met for the first time in 45 years. There was no dry eyes in the parking lot of the hotel. The mom and son will now spend quality time together Wes thanked his biological mom for putting him for adoption since he is blessed that his adopted family gave him a wonderful upbringing.

I love these stories. Mothers who have to give up their children make a great sacrifice. It gives them closure to know that the child turned out alright. I think it also gives the child closure because they get to ask WHY?
