Has anyone been vaccinated yet?

I have read some mylotters here who had already gotten their covid19 vaccine and shared side effects too. Here some of our seniors in the district had already vaccinated with Sinovac. I wasn't optimistic about it at first but when my sister in law from his doctor learned that Astrazenica have some serious side effects. Despite of my mom being allergic and asthmatic wants to be vaccinated as well, unless a doc recommends him not to. Although I'm also afraid of the vaccinated but people in our neighborhood died from covid in less than a week so i have no choice. What are your opinions on the vaccines?

My husband had his two doses as well. It is a good thing, in my opinion. He got the Moderna. His first arm had soreness, but not the second one.

I say be cautious and listen to recommendations from doctors. Will I get the vaccine? yes, because I have never had a history of issues with vaccines and have no known anaphylaxis. The impressions I get are that when something goes wrong with a vaccine i.e. side effects people get mad... news flash anything and everything you put in your body has a "side effect". Yet if the vaccine hadn't been developed people would be mad that nothing is being done to help.

I haven't been vaccinated yet, but both my parents are, as well as my in-laws. I'm certainly happy that they have been. So far so good for them.

It sounded like Sinovac does not have side effects. I hope we can get the vaccine we need.

I'd gladly take the Sinovac over the AZ. No choice but to get inoculated. It's my share of sacrifice for that goal of achieving the so-called herd immunity. The point of getting the vaccine is to prevent the onset of terrible covid symptoms. No vaccines available for my age bracket yet.

Hello @almostoveryou Those who got covid here didn't even last a week. For me i think the vaccine is supposed to make you resistant to covid.

I really don't know. People keep telling me different things they hear about the whole thing but I don't know if there's any truth in any of it. So I haven't been jabbed yet and don't know if I will.

@Letranknight2015 And now it seems the current vaccines won't protect us from the variants...

If they have not been vaccinated yet then they might do tell a lot of things, specially if it's coming from someone paranoid.

I wouldn't want to get the vaccines from China. I know people, classmates from college, who got vaccinated and they did not have any side effects.

@Letranknight2015 Most of these vaccines is not 100% effective. Even Pfizer claimed to be 95%.

@Letranknight2015 I mean this with all due respect to those who have been vaccinated and to those who plan on getting vaccinated. My personal opinion is, I don't trust it and I don't want it. This is just my personal opinion. And this opinion comes from a much deeper reason. It's not just simply the stories we are hearing. I just don't trust it nor do I trust how this whole virus came about. I honestly don't mean to sound like "one of those people" but sadly, I am confused, I am scared and I am having no trust with anything regarding governments and the population etc.
