My daffodils are not happy

When I woke up this morning I was not surprised to see a dusting of snow on the ground. I made an order of groceries to pick up at Stop and Shop and when I went out to my car, I saw my daffodils with their little flowers hanging on the ground. I hope they will snap back.
It was 37 degrees when I checked at 11:30 a.m. I got hotdogs and potato rolls, we haven’t had them in a long time.
Tomorrow I will make meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I am busy writing some blog posts and just keeping warm.
We are going to order the flooring for the cottage today and I have decided on the color Trex I want for our house in Ct. work is moving along well at the cottage. The air conditioner is ready to be installed in the wall.
So that’s my Friday. I just had a banana and a cup of coffee and I am feeling warm, I had to turn in the heat.
Have a great weekend.

We've not turned the heat off yet although we've turned it way down when it was warmer out. My hyacinths did that and they never popped back up. But my daisies look like they've had enough and are starting to Peter out. My tulips in the other hand are just getting ready to open up.
Today was decent but it's been chilly here too off and on and on the thirties during the night.

@BelleStarr I always thought the tulips came up first but I guess that was before I ever had daffodils.

It really confuses the plants whenever it changes radically from warm to cold.!

@BelleStarr March was too warm and this month of April is colder than average. Many crops have already been destroyed by the late freeze.

I think our cold snap has ended; and it will be in the 50s and 60s next week. I hope your daffodils recover. Glad to hear that your remodeling, etc. is moving along. Have a great weekend.
