We have a few bats here, but i never got to touch one until we went to my dad's province. I was in the bedroom, chilling... the house was old and the windows were huge and didn't have a screen.
I thought something was thrown at me but when i looked behind me, a tiny bat was hanging on to the pillow. It was cute, but it had claws so i wrapped it in a blanket and helped it go outside.

I don't like bats! I have not yet touched any wild animals and I don't have plans.

Not wild wild, but in a zoo-like setting wild. Last week I went to Kentucky Down Under, held a snake, and petted the kangaroos!!!

@lady1993 — these were extremely docile. They have “grown up,” as it were, being petted and hand fed, and they loved it.
Having said that, I made sure to not approach one from the back leg area.

Wow, that would have scared me so bad. Glad you handled it the way you did.

I've picked up a few snakes, I've picked up a few lizards. Apart from that, no.

Yeah, mostly lizards and snakes, occasionally toads and things like crayfish. Depending on the definition of "wild" I suppose you could include the gila monster, the owl, the coyote pup, half a dozen wallabies, a couple of lemurs, the mountain lion, and the tiger, although all of those contacts happened at a zoological sanctuary and not in the actual wild.
My sense of self-preservation may be a bit lacking.

That's a good idea. Bats sometimes have rabies. I have petted a wild big horn sheep in Glacier Park Montana. I also had a wild mountain goat lick my knee (for the salt) on a long hike. I ran into a black bear on anther hike, but chose not to touch him. Heh.

Its getting uncommon to touch them. I guess always was but I remember days step dad who was a jerk but did cool things like this a snake, pet it. This a snapping turtle touch it on its head I got him so will not harm you. You see, he likes it. I miss innocence, everything so corrupt now. Animals in general seem to keep most people honest. The few that does not are the ones you should be careful of.
