Taking A Break From Dusting

One of the things that I detest the most in housekeeping is dusting. And that is what I was doing for a while.
I use my central vac for this with the dusting brush and also some dusting cloths.
It always puts me in a bad mood, so that is why I decided to visit MyLot for a little while and get some energy back at the same time.
Later on, I am planning to make a vegetable soup which I enjoy doing a lot more than dusting.
How do you feel about dusting?

Same as you. I really hate dusting but it must be done.

I hate dusting as well but there isn’t much about housekeeping that I enjoy doing.

@marlina When I was little I liked to dist. My parents had a living room which us kids were not allowed to go into. She would ask me to go in there to dust. Since I didn't get in there often and it was quiet, I would take my time and used to dust everything for her.
I remember loving to help my Gramma with the dusting, she was always so appreciative and I liked to help her.

Ohhhh - I did a lot of it this past week and now I have to do it outside. Why? We had walls built and there is cement dust all over the place - so I have major outdoor dusting to do and I'm not exactly looking forward to it (see how I'm stalling by being on myLot this morning?
).

It doesn't bother me but then again I don't do it enough either but not because I get in a bad mood over it.
Why do you always write something new after I've already checked?

@MarshaMusselman , That is very nice of you!
Once in a while, I am in the mood to write something, not every day,
I enjoy reading your posts also.

@marlina lol. A few days in a row I looked to see if your had written anything new and when you hasn't I quit looking and then you did and I missed not only that one but several after. I was surprised earlier to find I had missed three of your newest posts.

@marlina I'm so sorry it puts you in a bad mood. I can undersatnd!
I don't mind dusting. I actually get satisfaction removing dust BUT....what annoys me is how quickly it comes back! It drives me crazy!

Vacuuming is what I hate most. I start off ok but as I go on I just get crosser and crosser and more and more hot and bothered until I'm just so angry! My partner decided that it wasn't worth seeing me get so cross and instead he would do it - unfortunately he didn't specify how often he would do it, or how thoroughly, so when he does do it (not often enough) he usually just vacuums the floor and leaves the cobwebs hanging from the curtain rails etc.

I do like dusting. I don't like doing the dishes though.

Dusting is so useless. As soon as you're done, it starts getting dusty again. Fortunately we have a little housekeeper who takes care of that.
