Fun time with the family

My husband and I drove to Myrtle Beach, SC Thursday for a few days with our son, daughter, her husband, and Landon, their 11 year old. The weather was beautiful, just a little cool, but no jacket needed. Friday night we enjoyed a huge seafood buffet, especially the crab legs. Well, the others loved them, but not me! Saturday the guys played golf while our daughter Tammy, Landon and I walked on the boardwalk at Broadway at the Beach. I could tell Tammy was hurting, so after a short while, we waited at a restaurant Dave and Buster's for the guys to meet us for supper. It has a huge arcade which Landon loved, but way too noisy! After, Landon rode some sort of large soft plastic bubble (looked like a hamster wheel!) in the water of Lake Broadway. He had fun tumbling around as the wind blew, tethered of course to the pier. But the best part of our get togethers is getting together. Just talking and laughing, as they say: priceless. Now back to cooking and cleaning...vacations don't last forever. And we probably wouldn't appreciate them as much if they did. Hope myLotters who aren't quite through with winter yet will soon have some warm spring days. We've actually had snow a couple of times in April over the years, but sure hope not this one!
