April Is The Month For Cooking

United States

During this month of April, I have been trying to cook more often than getting food at a fast food joint. Last Thursday, I cooked some chili sauce, added some meatballs and then broke up some angel hair pasta and threw that in the saucepan, too. Was pretty decent but the chili sauce was a bit salty for my taste. Friday, I cooked a small pork tenderloin. Yum. I have made several sandwiches with it and topped it with cheese. Today, I cooked spaghetti and meatballs. It was decent. I have enough left over for at least 3 meals. This cooking thing isn't too bad after all.

Yeah. I have noticed that it is cheaper to cook at home.

@kaylachan Yep. You got that right. Some ingredients in fast foods can give my belly some problems. Ugh.

I really don't like to cook all that much. But when something turns out really tasty, I am really surprised!

I have been cooking for years. And now, my body does not accept any food except for the best resturants or cooked by myself.

Cooking used to be a chore for me. Then covid hit and I have to make all my meals at home. So I've been trying out many new recipes, and it's even enjoyable now.

I've cooked more over the past year and few months than I have in a long time.

Cooking is a good way to save money. Also it might be healthier.

Cooking is something I do nearly every day, and even though it can get irksome at times to always try to figure out what to make, it is a lot of fun, and of course I like eating. So, it works out. lol
