The dilemma about medication

Yesterday I started to feel this headache, stronger in the right side, I decided not to take meds and went to bed early in a hope that the sleep would help. I didn't sleep well and woke up frequently due to the pain and in the morning the headache was still here. Now I decided to take paracetamol before going to bed, I am feeling terribly tired and I just want this headache to go away. I am only take meds if I have no other option but now I regret I didn't take yesterday night's. Do you take meds as soon as you feel the pain, or do you prefer to try something else?

We call that med Tylenol in the US. It never helps my headache but I hope it does yours. I do take meds as soon as the pain starts usually.

Yes, here we can also find it with that name. Maybe it is better that way, I wouldn't had the miserable day I had if I had taken the med yesterday.

In my opinion, it is better to take it early, if you wait too long, the pain gets worse,

I think I should have taken a med as soon as I felt it, this time is taking some days to pass.

Depends on the pain. I suffer from chronic pain, so it can sometimes take me a bit to get to the point where I feel like I need to suck it down like candy.

I usually take medication at the first sign of a head. In my experience it only gets worse if I don’t

I know how you feel. I took something earlier this morning when I felt mine getting bad, but it didn't do anything so I didn't take anything else. I am giving it time instead.

What is paracetamol? I have not heard of that one. I tend to take meds as soon as I can.

I have meds for migraine. I would only take it if the pain didn't go away.

It is a little bit better but not totally well. I don't think it is a migraine but it is taking days to pass.

I usually wait to see if the pain passes before taking something and if it doesn't then I'll take Tylenol

I use to do that too, I don't like to take meds but I think I should have taken it as soon as I started feeling the pain, it's taken more days to pass now.

I take extra strength Tylenol at the first sign of a headache, otherwise it would only get worse. You have to know your own body. Hope you feel better today.
