Thanks to Vanny for the images used in this video. Is it time to do another piano tune?

As some of you know, I like to play piano and guitar. Occasionally I put stuff on YouTube, and then @Vandana7 and I do battle over what pictures to use, and where. She is my PR person and producer. This is my first piano tune on YouTube. It was played on a slightly out-of-tune piano at my music friend Michael's house. I actually like the photos and short videos Vanny chose to go with it. But she does not allow me to "thank" her for what she does. Some crazed Indian thing, I suppose. I have to decide what to do next. The other day, at Guitar Center, I practiced an old piano tune I wrote (in d-minor) that I like. Maybe I'll record that one next. What do you think? Should I stick to guitar, bass and vocals? Or should I put some more piano stuff out there?

Thanks. Alas, I have only a primitive electronic keyboard at home. My baby grand is with friends in Atlanta GA. I want to play more piano, as it was my first instrument.

@CarolDM Thanks, Carol. I am working on a keyboard tune that I would like to record. But I am also working on a guitar tune using Indian musical intervals. We'll see what happens next.

I enjoy playing pretty much all music. I am trying to decide whether to focus on a keyboard piece in d-minor or an Indian-influenced piece on my guitar.

Heh. Playing any music gives me pleasure. If I have any down time today at Guitar Center, I'll work on the d-minor piano piece on one of their weighted keyboards.

@TheHorse Aging, I try to do only what I like to do. There are already a lot of things we are obliged to do, at least where I have the choice, I choose.

Thank you Thelma. I was hoping you at least would say this is the best imagery for his music. Kinda...in other songs he spoils it for me. Funny part..Sugar Moon song...I was so mad at Pony and I said let us use Clark Gable and Vivienne Leigh. I wanted to say your selection is so old fashioned. He completely missed my sarcasm. LOL. We fight a lot... its like two species of dogs barking at each other. But somehow it is fun too.

The next one he sent to me was worth dying for. But I am unable to open it for some god only knows reason. That he played only on guitar. I had downloaded some clippings too for it, but I did not get a green signal from this obtuse eccentric stubborn pony. If only he would give me 2 songs as per my selection every week, I could monetize his link, and earn something too.

Very nice. It's a little lyrically sparse but I like it. I'm really not qualified to tell you if you should release more piano stuff. I only played the piano for a short while when I was with Little Sister And The Grasping Corporation...We almost got Janis Joplin to be our lead singer, I might write a book about that someday but anyway, I'm going to let more experienced people advise you about the piano. Like maybe my friend Elton. He's had a part-time job playing the piano for a few years now.

@TheHorse I cannot appreciate Hendrix. I am sorry, I don't understand his music, or for that matter Elvis. But then, my tastes are different from you all. I find Barbara Streisand melodious.

@TheHorse It's so hard to tell who wrote what and whose idea was whose and I'm fine with that. I don't want or need or any credit. I'm just happy to help out kids like Elton who are just getting started. Jimi, too. I gave him a few suggestions a few years ago and I've noticed that some players today are still using them. It makes me happy.

When I met Elton, he told me that you were a major inspiration. But he never would tell me which tunes were "basically yours.'' Same with Hendrrix.

Me too...I wished though I could fine tune it..pictures to match with the notes..but it is not bad. I wanted the rain drop on that daisy matching with the piano note..it is fractional second amiss.

I think playing the piano, can make the sound of the guitar, bass and drums, and arrange the vocals to be interesting and make the music more beautiful
