Visits Cancelled

Today, has been busy. I had to meet s friend for a few minutes. Then paid some bills. But before I left, I got a call from the nursing home informing me that, all visits are cancelled for another 2 weeks. One of the workers, tested positive for covid. So back on lock down they go. My husband had dialysis today, I called and told him if needed anything to let me know. We are aloud to take things to them. A nurse meets you at the door. I should have gone earlier in the morning. Two places had closed for lunch, so I had to wait until after lunch. But while waiting, its such a gorgeous day, I really didnt mind waiting, I sat on a bench, and enjoyed the day. Home now, and just relaxing.

Better safe than sorry I think.
Have the workers not all been vaccinated yet?
Nursing home staff should have been front of the line.

There are some that say they will not get it. Mu sons wife, works with battered women and she was told either she get vaccinated or be fired. She got vaccinated.

Aye, there will always be people who say they won't get it,
Sadly, American States do have the right to make it compulsory.
