Score! Unicorn Signed Gena Showalter Book

Not many people understand my book obsession and I'm okay with that. When Gena Showalter had said that she signed 10,000 copies of her new book, The Warlord, for Walmart she also said that she signed 5 of those copies specially. There were fiver personal signatures. Some were multi-color, one had a heart and one a flower. They are all gorgeous. I wasn't even going to look yesterday thinking my odds of finding what the group on Facebook was calling A Golden Ticket Books were slim to non. My husband encouraged me to just go look. Looking doesn't cost anything. Turns out I found the one with the heart in it. It wasn't pictured on the post so I posted it saying it wasn't a Golden Ticket Book but I loved it anyway so I splurged and bought it. Turns out it was a Golden Ticket book and I was the first to find one at all. It made my day and the fact that Gena Showalter herself was excited about my find and commented was just amazing. I had a bad day yesterday so I was elated to find a Unicorn book. Most won't get it but it meant a lot to me.
