Regrets

Regret is stupid I heard somebody said,
This makes you miserable at night when you lay
Somehow people just want to live in a world of make believe
Because they just want to enjoy the feeling of relief
We all have failures and share of losing
And no matter how we deny them, there would always be something
In our heart and in our mind the feeling of longing
To something or some one we never thought of losing
we bury those feelings, unkept and hidden
Under the surface, skin deep but bleeding
Feeling of entrapment, assuming we're fine
Believing that everything would subsides in time
At times we let our guard down and we suddenly explode
Overwhelming emotions tend to overload
Sooner or later things would come to pass
Life keeps moving on, forward as it lasts
Note: Just a poem on regrets

It was a gift from my eldest daughter because she really knows how I hate meetings! And she always congratulates me whenever I survived one.

Nice poem and yes, regrets are not good to have, I have no regrets in my life it has so far been a very learning experience,
