updates on COVID-19 assistance and stimulus.US Government and I am sure
other rich countries such as Germany, UK and more gave money to families
to help them paying bills and food. US Government gave almost $6000 to family
with kids, businesses got in the millions.Even President Trump businesses got
big big $$$$$$$$. But we should remember there is no thing free lunch. When the Government give away money , it will get it from some one. Could be our kinds or our grand kids.

You are definitely right about that. It's OUR money, plain and simple. Because the government does not MAKE money. It collects it in the form of taxes. So either we will pay it all back eventually, or SOMEONE will, and for many, many years to come.

I still don't understand the system. EX president Trump got big check for his loosing businesses . In reality he did not loose a penny or just the opposite. In his Washington Hotel the charge per night was about $500
he increase to $1500 or more and was fully booked the the months of January, February and March 2020.
So why he received money from the Government ?????

@coolsite Not sure. It is all based on how the "law" was written. And as Trump said many, many times on the campaign trail and during his presidency, and correctly so was if you don't like the law, change it. But do not accuse me of doing something wrong when I follow the law.
Nothing Trump ever did was illegal, and nothing he is doing now is illegal, and regardless of the optics, he didn't write the law.
Whether he should get any money is not the question, for me. If he was entitled to it, do we blame Trump or the people who let him legally have it?

@porwest In reality he is not entitled to get any stimulus check from IRS. When he was elected he
promised that he will give back the Government his salary which is about $450.000 a year. He never
did. You are right I guess the system based on certain data and how the money is being paid.
