After a morning of phone calls and emails and stuff... I got a phone call from my brother this evening, asking how things were going and letting me know that he had sent (emailed) me a copy of the deed to our house that our parents left us (that I currently live in), which the manager at the apartment complex I'm trying to get into wanted (in lieu of rent/landlord information, as I've never rented anywhere before). After I got of the phone and wrote myself some reminders about things I need to do tomorrow, I came in here, downloaded the deed copy, and sent it off to the apartment manager. That was the last thing that he wanted. Now, I wait for his approval/disapproval of my application. If he "disapproves" it, then it's back to the drawing board, but at least I now have an idea of what to expect next time.
