The tractor might be sold today

We are moving in three or four weeks, going from 18 acres to 300 square metres, so we’ve had to get rid of a lot of items. Today, someone is coming to look at the tractor. It is being sold with the grader blade, a carry-all and a set of harrows. Vince says we need to put the grader blade on the tractor before the buyer arrives. It is about the worst/hardest job on the place but I guess if it has to be done, we’ll just need to do it.
The tractor is the last big item to be sold apart from the trailer which we will keep until the last minute. Someone is coming for the fire-fighting unit on Sunday.
Almost all our wonderful tools have been sold now. We are just keeping a few of the basics. The house is a bit emptier too and I’ve starting packing boxes. We picked up some packing cases from the removalists so I can now get on with packing them. We picked up ten smaller boxes for books and heavy items but I’m not sure ten will be enough. We can always get more if we need them.
Photo is of the tractor with the blade.

@JudyEv Fingers crossed. Glad the blade went on easily. That is always a blessing.

@wolfgirl569 We will leave it on now until, hopefully, we sell it. The guy didn't want it but we'll store it under the lean-to in which case the blade can stay on it.

Moving is never easy, but at least you're able to get rid of stuff like that.

@RebeccasFarm Some things you never really see until you really start looking or until other things are moved away from an article.

You guys are getting everything done for the big move pretty quickly, it seems to me. You should have it all ready to go well before hand. The hard part will come when you've got to unpack everything and figure out where you're putting it all.
I hate moving! We still haven't found what we did with some things we know we brought with us. *sigh*

@JudyEv Oh, I know. When we moved in 2019 we thought we'd gotten rid of enough stuff to fit into the new house. We still put a lot out into the garage that wouldn't fit into the house.

@DaddyEvil We are spoilt here as we have so much room. There is tons of cupboard space.

I hope you sell the tractor right away. It must be bittersweet to think about moving. I hope you will be very happy in your new home.

@LindaOHio That's very true and when I speak to my friend who is excited about us going there, then I feel better too.

looks like the blade went on without an issue!
the worst time when moving is 3-5 days before. When you realize the pace set to that point was too slow and you have more to pack!!!!

It went on as easily as it's ever done!! The man didn't want the tractor but we've left the blade on now for a day or two in case we get some more enquiries.
I keep thinking I'm doing well then I look around and see how much more I have to do. And it's so hard to know what to leave till the last minute.

Thanks and yes, it's been sold now together with the attachments - a grader blade, carry-all and set of harrows.
