Bits and pieces of activities

Since I only have to work a minor amount today I have lots of space in my day to tie up lose ends of things. I did some required online learning for school. I have been outside. Hubby got a call that our riding mower was ready and he can pick it up. The lights on the trailer do not work, so I hope he does not get a ticket. Having the riding mower means he will mow more. He is good with it. I am okay with it, but this way it is not all my work. We have a local plant seller and I will go down and look at what he has. I want to spend money locally before I go out of town. I am taking a plant to a friend as well. The sunshine and the minimal work load is helping me have a stretched out weekend. I am glad of it.

Ride-on mowers make the work easy, don't they?

Unfortunately it is not cutting. Not sure if we just turned something the wrong direction or what. I did have an fun ride all over the yard just honing my driving skills. I look forward to it working at some point.

@JudyEv Nope, honing, meaning to make sharp. What is 'hooning?

@GardenGerty That's a shame it's not cutting. You no doubt enjoyed honing your driving skills. Or should that be 'hooning'? lol

Hopefully your home work load will be lessened now. I'm so glad I don't have a large area that I need to mow, mostly it's weeds and dirt around here.

We do not seem to have it working right yet. Another problem. If it becomes functional hubby will actually be willing to mow. We maybe just did not turn the lever the right way for the blade to run.

Glad you were able to get outside. I have been there as well. So beautiful today. Your friend will enjoy the plant. What a nice gesture.

Yes, it is a particular wild plant that has herbal uses and interesting growth habits. I feel better if I get outside every day.

It's always better when you can plan your days accordingly so you're not nearly as stressed.

Our yard is so hilly it is like a carnival ride. Pull the levers this way then that etc. It is a zero turn radius mower.

Well, it seems to still have a problem, but the problem may actually be us, the operators.
