This medication forces me to get some sleep.

I have glaucoma and I use an eye drop every morning and night. The doctor prescribed 1 drop twice a day in both eyes. Now not all people and some including me face this side effects where it lowers down your blood pressure and makes you feel sleepy. And as soon as I apply it in the morning it makes me feel sleepy and lowers my Blood Pressure. At night time it's not affecting me that much since I've been eating dinner and I don't have chores to be done. Less moving lowers the side effects but as soon as I try to get some work done it starts making me sleepy. I'm gonna take a nap and see you all later. Do you have any family that has Glaucoma? Do they have the same issue as me?

No, I don't know anyone with glaucoma. Have you talked with your doctor about that? There may be something else she can give you instead.

There are not many medications to help with glaucoma. I already had laser surgery but it is worsening, I think I should repeat it, I am not jumping of joy, but if it is necessary.

No, I don't. If you want, perhaps you should consider eating before taking that first dose in the morning? Or drink more fluids? reduce the side effects?

I do but it does not reduce the effects during morning. Because I have light breakfast.

I have narrow angle Glaucoma, I had laser surgery to help with the eyes pressure, I only use 1 drop before going to sleep.

Was it painful?

@BabeSays NO, it was not painful, they use special drops to anesthetize your eyes. A bit annoying during a couple of hours after surgery, but not too bad.
