Day 263 Promise 731 1 John 5:1 Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone who loves him who begat loves him also that is begotten of him. We are all begotten of someone. Our lives are not by chance. John told the believers everyone who accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord was born of God. As Christians, you knew the reality of your salvation in Jesus Christ the moment you accepted Him as Savior and Lord. You found an undeniable love from God who chose you from the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. (KJV) It’s easy to love someone who loves you. When you acknowledge God’s love, your life takes on a new meaning as you begin to love those God loves. 1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us. (KJV) It’s comforting to know that no matter what, God loves you. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for choosing me, setting me apart for You, and loving me beyond measure.
