Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I hope everyone is relaxing today hopefully.
Today is "World Laughter Day". Laughter is so important in life and especially in the current times wherein people across the world are stressed because of the pandemic.
Laughter Day in India was first celebrated on 2nd May,1998 by Dr. Madan Kataria. He urged everyone by going out to accompany him in his laughs.
As we say, Laughter is the best medicine. It's just not a statement, it's a fact proven time and again.
Benefits of Laughter are as follows:-
1) It leads to wellness of the mind and heals the inner self.
2) It releases physical stress, leaving your muscles relaxed after it.
3) Laughter helps in reducing stress, anxiety and depression. It helps in improving the immune system by the function of regulating blood vessels and increases the blood flow which helps to keep away heart attack and other cardiovascular problems.
4). Laughter is extremely good for face muscles. If you laugh more, you can get less wrinkles in old age.
5) One can also laugh just for pure fun!!
Laughter is one such thing which is so contagious. If you see someone laughing genuinely from heart, you too can't control it at times.
