I couldn't watch Andre Rieu today because Mums DVD player isn't working! NO!

Another disaster! Mums DVD player isn't working so we couldn't watch Andre Rieu! Disappointed is not a sufficient word for how I was feeling! So, we put the DVD player on, and the first thing we noticed was that the colour of the screen was a yellowy colour instead of blue like it should be. We put the DVD in, and it was slow starting. Then when it did arrive at the DVD menu, I selected English subtitles and proceeded to play the concert. The picture had a horrible yellowy tint to it as the prompt screen had at the beginning. Not only that but there was NO SOUND! We took the DVD out and tried it again with the same result. I took the DVD into my room and tried it on my telly (which has a DVD player included in it) and it worked fine. Then I tried a different DVD in Mums DVD player with the same result. We decided to give it up and I put my DVD's away. Mum is going to get a new DVD player, probably from Argos, but I don't know when. How has your day been?
