Back to work in person tomorrow

I've been teaching virtually here from the apartment for this whole school year. I was able to continue working from here with a doctor's note (and exam) and having pre-existing conditions. We were notified at the end of March that they wouldn't continue supporting teleworking starting on May 3 (tomorrow) and employees would either have to return to work in person or take unpaid leave. No-brainer there for me. I can't afford unpaid leave. Back to work tomorrow in person I go. My car is still crashed and hasn't even started being worked on yet. My coworker said she would pick me up and drop me off each day since she has to drive by here anyway on her way to work. Fine with me. I need all the help that I can get. So tomorrow instead of sleeping until 7 am I will be back up at 5 am to shower, dress, find something for breakfast, etc. The days are still half-days since they haven't figured out how to do lunches yet but this week the district is also returning to 5 days of in person instruction a week. Fridays have been virtual for most of the year. This has definitely been a crazy school year. Just another month and a half left!
