Yesterday was Mother's Day here

I don't know when you celebrate Mother's Day, in my country, it is always celebrated on the first Sunday of May.
We (me and my sister) spend all day with our mom, we gave her flowers but I think the best present is to be with her, treat her well and look after her.
I have the best mom in the world, isn't yours the best one too?

Yes, my mom was the best. She passed away in 2002. I still miss her.

Ours is next Sunday. It's usually celebrated the second Sunday, I believe.
Mom passed away several years ago. On Saturday my best friends and I are going to spend the day with one friend's mom.

Our Mother's Day is celebrated next Sunday, the week following yours..
After the pandemic I think that my family actually understands me better when I tell them that all I want for that day is time spent with them, and a hug. We will not be celebrating it that way until after both vaccines, and so far we have not had our first as of yet. The day will come though........

Mother's day here is the Sunday nearest the tenth of the month so it's this coming Sunday. My mom passed away a year and a half ago but I intend to get my daughter a card. I'll be working.
