What a humid afternoon! / myLot

Of all weathers, this is my least favorite: gloomy humid weather. It looks like it will rain anytime soon but nope the sky is just fooling me. I am on the last part of my lesson plan and am in a hurry to finish it so that I can take my lunch and shower and Mylot a bit before I start at 3pm. Anything interesting that happened to you today?

We have a pretty good weather right now. I was able to clean one of the freezers today. I want to be ready with the freezers for summer.

@Janet357 I have two drawers freezers. I bought a second last year soon after the lockdown to store meat and fish to be sure to have food. I like to have something available in my freezers, just in case, you never know.

@LadyDuck this is a good planning. Yes. We don't know what will happen next so better have two freezers. They may consume much electricity but who knows what will happen tomorrow.

That's the same weather we had yesterday. Pretty and I had to walk two kilometers to pick up our car at the garage. We were having new front tires put on. The walk was nice although my legs were sore later. (I haven't been getting enough exercise this last few months. I'm high risk for Covid and we are trying to avoid being around other people as much as we can.) We picked up soil amendments for the garden we're making in our back yard. We still need to plant some vegetable seedlings we've got growing inside the house.

@Janet357 Spinach and lettuce. Also some chives. We already planted cherry tomatoes and yellow pear tomatoes. Pretty and I are talking about going walking in the evenings after it starts cooling down again. If it's not raining.

@DaddyEvil wow, you will not buy them from the supermarket anymore. I like growing edible plants. Don't like those that bear flowers only Evening is the best time to walk.

well what about jogging in your house or room? I do that often. Two kilometers is a good distance for walking. What vegetables seedlings have you got there?

Here also weather is not good. Yesterday it was the hottest day of the year. Hope it heat gets reduced in coming days otherwise survival will be difficult.
