Do You Have These Plants?

Philippines

I finally know the names of some of the plants we have. On the left is Plumbago. We used to have a few pots that grew up the metal fence then cascaded down to the sidewalk. You could hear voices of people taking selfies with these clusters of purple flowers as their background. Top middle picture is Dieffenbachia (also called dumb cane). I moved them to a shadier spot because I found out too much sun was "burning" the leaves. (It's summer here so the light and heat is intense.) On the right is Heliconia. We have a row of these along the side of the house as a privacy screen. A small bird called Olive-backed Sunbird (with a yellow belly) likes to sip the nectar using its curved beak. I made the collage using pictures I found online.

When we still had the gumamela (hibiscus) some parents would ask for some flowers for their children's science class.

@merrybelle2021 Oh yes, I remembers identifying the parts of the flower... and you need to bring a sample which the gumamela flower.

I think there are those flowers around my house. I would remember well if there is, especially that Plumbago.

I wish we still have them, but they block the view.

I think they're all tropical plants, so I guess it depends on what climate you have.
