A good neighbor

My downstairs neighbor just texted me to see if I was home today or if I was at work. I told her that I was here and that I had to take a personal day because my ride was sick and taking the day off from work. She said "okay because I keep hearing someone walking around up there". She knows I don't usually get back here until 11:30-11:45 am.
It was nice of her to check for me. She does a lot for me. She picked me up from somewhere at 1 am. She has taken my garbage and boxes out to the dumpster for me. She took care of my cats when I was in the hospital.
It is great to have such a wonderful neighbor.

Good neighbors are worth their weight in gold. My next door neighbors are gems: she took me to the grocery when I was unable to drive with the broken ankle, and he cuts my grass. When I was quarantined they offered to go to the grocery for me (but I’m always stocked up in the winter, because I remember the storm of ‘94)!!
