When you have tried to be good to others, now ask yourself, are you good enough to yourself? Sometimes, without realizing it, we criticize ourselves so badly with painful evil thoughts. Learn to be kind to yourself, and push those negative thoughts away Research has found that accepting yourself is the key to a happier life. But unfortunately, this is the habit we rarely do. We tend to criticize and blame ourselves for everything that happens in life. Encourage yourself, and start to familiarize yourself with the simple things that bring happiness.

I agree with you. You must accept who you are and by then you can freely accept others too.

The reason people are hard on themselves is because the people around them mostly point out their flaws and mistakes. So they end up seeing the bad in themselves too because no one appreciates them for who they are

Yes, we can all be our own worst critics.
