Broadway will be back in September

at 100% capacity. That was announced by NY governor Andrew Cuomo today. Broadway was one of the first "things" to close when COVID-19 started to get going. The lights went dark. I think they still are. I'm not a huge Broadway-goer. The last musical I saw was Escape to Margaritaville which was awesome. That was like 3 years ago. I think before that I saw Chicago like 10+ years before that. I know people who love theater and go see like every one that is produced. They will be happy to return to Broadway in September.
The coronavirus pandemic has brought countries to a standstill. Meanwhile, vaccinations have already started in some countries as cases continue to rise. Follow here for the latest.

@spiderdust We are back to in-person school all 5 days now though students can still opt to do it virtually. It is half days still but I heard that June 1 we will be back to full days. Seriously? For like 2 or 3 weeks?

@NJChicaa Someone mentioned yesterday that we're expected to go to no restrictions by June 1st. My reaction was "already?!" We're (or at least my county is) still in the red tier!

It's nice that it will reopen. I have been to a few broadway shows, which I did enjoy.

September . . . well, I hope things continue to go well as they have been . . . but let's see how these next few months go. I am keeping an eye on the rest of the nation/world . . . I wonder how their upticks may or may not affect us months from now .
