The hard disk price is higher / myLot

Since my current hard disk storage will be full soon, so I plan to buy a new hard disk. Hard to believe that at present its price is even higher than what I bought last year. Perhaps people buy more hard disks to dig Bitcoin and it leads to the price increase?

For minting Bitcoins what you need are good Graphic Cards, so the price is not because of Bitcoin, but it is because of the shortage due to Covid.

@youless In your country there is a specific new cryptocurrency called "CHIA" that is mined storing data on Hard Disks, so in your country this is surely another reason for price increase.
